The Masterclave 09 is easy to operate and can be linked to plate pouring devices or gravimetric diluters. This unit offers the flexibility required for hands-free preparation of a wide range of agars and fluid media.

Masterclave 09 can prepare between one and nine litres of media within a 60 minute sterilisation cycle. Even those laboratories producing smaller volumes of a variety of media may benefit from this rapid cycle time. The unit can be used to prepare broth as well as agar products.
 
The lightweight inner vessel is easy to remove and makes cleaning a simple task.
 
Media prepared in the Masterclave 09 is of exceptional quality. Heating is microprocessor controlled and accurate to within ±1°C, eliminating any danger of overheating. Accurate core temperature monitoring guarantees high quality agar and broth even when the preparator is filled to capacity. During the production cycle the media is agitated constantly by the large magnetic stirrer in the base of the inner vessel ensuring thorough homogenisation throughout the entire process.
 
Users are able to create their own programmes for ease of use as all parameters are customisable. Numerous different programmes can therefore be selected at the press of a button.
 
Traceability can be improved by the ability to add user names and batch numbers to each batch of media produced.
 
Durable and safe
The stainless steel lid of the preparatory is pneumatically assisted making opening and closing of the vessel very easy. A new locking system closes the external safety cover automatically when the temperature exceeds 80°C and incorporates a maintenance-free magnetic sensor. The painted steel cover and tinted viewing panel combine a high degree of durability with visibility of the interior.
 
All pressure vessel components conform to all relevant safety requirements and the entire unit complies with 97/23/CEE – 89/336/CEE – 73/23/CEE. The Masterclave 09 is both CE and ASME compliant.
 
Optional elements
With the optional integral chart recorder, Masterclave 09 allows full traceability of all functions. A PC can be linked to the unit to enable fast storage of this information.
 
The Masterclave 09 can be used as an autoclave to sterilise instruments and waste material. The autoclave basket is available to order separately.
