Whitley Mini Incubator
If you need to grow organisms at elevated temperatures, you may need a mini incubator for use either inside any of our Whitley Workstations or for bench-top use. The incubation area is accessed via clear sliding doors, ensuring excellent visibility and maximising the remaining incubation and working spaces when used inside a workstation.
Temperature and Capacity
The incubator operates from five degrees above ambient temperature up to a maximum temperature of 60°C. The maximum incubation capacity is 45 x 90mm Petri dishes. The optimised incubation capacity is 25 x 90mm Petri dishes in five stacks of five, providing temperature distribution of better than ±2.0°C.
When the incubator is used inside a workstation, the remaining internal workstation space can still be used to perform tasks and incubate samples at lower temperatures.
Additional Features
The incubator is fabricated in white acrylic to co-ordinate with the Whitley Workstation range. It is double-skinned for safety and high thermal efficiency.
The incubator is fitted with the same reliable and accurate temperature controller used throughout the Whitley Workstation range.
