A fast, automated system for those laboratories that cannot justify a workstation for incubating anaerobic or microaerobic organisms such as Campylobacter spp. The Whitley Jar Gassing System runs from one cylinder of mixed gas and easily fits into any laboratory routine. There are separate cycles to prepare anaerobic or microaerobic conditions. Operated via a colour, touch screen display, initiate the chosen sequence of evacuation and gas replacement in the jar.

An optional printer is available if you want to be able to print out data for traceability and accreditation purposes.

System Features

Compact and safe, the unit creates the desired atmosphere in seconds - compared to 30 - 180 minutes using gas generation sachets or kits - and at a fraction of the cost. Numerous studies have shown that organisms have higher recovery rates if they are introduced into the correct incubation environment as soon as possible.

You can probably even use your own jars as we supply adaptor kits to use with a variety of gas jars. We also supply own own competitively priced jars suitable for both anaerobic and microaerobic work.

A comprehensive user manual is accessed via the touch screen display so is always available when you need it.
