To ensure your Hypoxystation is delivered ready for use for your particular application, several options and accessories are available. Some options are factory-fitted so careful consideration of these is needed prior to placing your order. However, other options can be ordered at a later stage to upgrade your workstation. Factory-Fitted Options   CO2 Monitoring If you require the ability to adjust levels of carbon dioxide, an option comprising the hardware and software necessary to monitor and control CO2 in 0.1% increments from 0.1% to 15% is available.   Vacuum Take-off Provides a method of safely aspirating used liquid media from inside the workstation and without any risk of spillage or contamination.   Single Plate Entry System Allows the rapid entry of individual flasks, pipettes or other small items. This is a very useful option for on-call or emergency use.   Humidification system Adds moisture using an ultrasonic transducer to generate a fine mist of minute droplets to enabe rapid, sustained and accurate humidity. Spare Cable Gland Allow cables and probes to be introduced into the chamber without compromising internal conditions. Double Internal socket Essential if electrical equipment is to be used inside the workstation.   Gas Sample Port Allows you to take a sample of the chamber atmosphere for further analysis or quality control without compromising internal conditions.   Automatic Sleeve Gassing System This facility ensures the sleeves are correctly evacuated and refilled before the user’s hands are introduced into the chamber. This is particularly useful if operators are not confident in using manual vacuum and gassing controls. Refrigeration Unit The standard refrigeration unit is designed to operate at 8 ± 1.5°C when located in ambient temperature of 21 ± 2°C. Other set temperatures are achievable. Software Options   Data Logging Allows you to record historical data from environmental parameters inside the workstation, ie temperature, humidity, oxygen, carbon dioxide and cabinet internal pressure. The data can then be exported for use in Microsoft Excel or similar software applications.   Data Logging with Oxygen Profiling Allows you to pre-programme different oxygen levels and have the system automatically mix the atmosphere to achieve these levels. You can also programme how long the atmosphere remains at this level and then choose to have the unit return to the previous oxygen level, remain static or switch to another gas concentration.     Upgrades and Accessories   Trolley This is particularly useful if your laboratory is short of bench space. It allows convenient access to the rear of the instrument and permits the unit to be moved easily between laboratories. For overseas customers, if a trolley is ordered for despatch at the same time as the H85 Hypoxystation, there will be no additional carriage charge.   Catalyst If anoxic conditions are required, a sachet of catalyst must be introduced into the chamber, together with changing the gas supply to a single cylinder of anaerobic gas mixture.     If you have any questions, please contact us on +44 (0)1274 595728 or complete our web form.
