AccuPAS is a system for fully automating the inoculating, streaking and bar coding process of swab specimens. It allows you to process swab samples automatically from receipt in the laboratory, to plates being ready for incubation. AccuPAS is a completely hands-free, walk away system that provides you with a uniform streak pattern every time. Automated bar coding of the media helps you eliminate the possibiity of errors.

How does it work?

AccuPAS receives the sample in the system input tray and automatically prepares the media for the incubator. The specimen bar code is read and the machine uncaps the sample. The plate lid is removed, it is inoculated, streaked, the lid replaced, bar code labelled and the sample is recapped and placed for storage. The loop is then sterilised ready for the next specimen and plates are stacked ready for you to transfer to the incubator. The workflow cycle is however flexible to enable you to customise the system to your own requirements.
